Sponsor Our Children

Nearly all the babies have left New Life Home Trust before their 3rd birthday. Many will have found homes with a loving adoptive family. But what about those few 3-5-year-olds who are not adopted (yet)? Well, when our little ones outgrow their baby homes, they ‘graduate’ to our toddler home in Nakuru. It has been custom-designed, from the ground up, with our toddlers & their growing needs in mind.

If children have not managed to be adopted by the time they are 5 we move them to “family homes” where they will grow up in groups as brothers and sisters in a family unit. NLHT was there at the beginning and will be there until the children no longer need us.

We support children in various different circumstances. Some of them have been in the care of New Life Home Trust since they were babies; others are young children attending rural schools in Ngao or Ruiru, or they are the children of the administrators of our homes.

Sponsors will receive information and a photo of a group of children. This will help in safeguarding our children and giving them the privacy we would expect in the UK. We feel that this is especially important as the children get older.

The funds will be for the children’s education costs and, in the case of those in New Life Home Trust care, will also include their living expenses.  We plan to follow the progress of the children as a group and to keep you up to date through the monthly e-newsletters. You will receive an annual update and photo of the whole group.
