We might be back in lockdown or living under tighter restrictions, but there are still ways you can help raise money for New Life Home Trust UK.
Here are some simple ideas to help get you going and give you some inspiration on how you can fundraise from the comfort of your own home:
Fitness challenges
Help keep yourself fit and healthy by taking part in a virtual running event such as the London Marathon or take up the challenge of couch to 5k. Hit your local streets for a 5k or 10k run, or complete a mile-a-day challenge throughout March, you could even do it in fancy dress! Set up a fundraising page through platforms such as Give as you Live Donate or Virgin Giving Money and your ready to go!
Of course if running sent your thing you could do the same on a bike or walking, whatever is your preferred choice of exercise. You could even set yourself the challenge of walking up and down your stairs enough times to cover the distance of Ben Nevis or Mount Kenya!
Declutter
Having a bit of a declutter? There are companies that you can use to trade in your unwanted books, games, DVDs and CDs and they will donate the trade value of these to your chosen charity. You could use platforms like Facebay to sell items to people living locally and then donate the money through your choose method. Of course make sure you are following any national or local restrictions in your area.
Gaming challenges

You don’t even need to leave the warmth of your home – very appealing on a cold and wet winter night!
